Bustextil History
1980's: Only 2 companies were producing textiles in Mexico for the automotive market (TEXEL & AMERICAN TEXTIL).
1984: TEXEL (Part of the PLIANA Group) bought new looms for velvet production (Automotive & Upholstery market).
1999: AUNDE (German worldwide group) bought the automotive part of TEXEL.
2003: BUSTEXTIL was created by purchasing the assets of Aunde (Bus fabric only).
